Originally from a small island in Alaska, Emma is a dedicated Community Health Worker with Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies. Residing on Hawaiʻi Island, Emma holds a BS in Public Health and is currently pursuing a degree in nursing to further her impact in healthcare.

Emma brings a unique blend of professional experience and personal insight from growing up in a small, tight-knit community that emphasized the importance of connection and community support. This background has instilled in her a deep understanding of the value of community resilience and sustainable change. She is passionate about bridging the gap between people and resources available to them. Outside of her professional life, she loves surfing, diving, hiking, and being in the ocean. Emma approaches life with gratitude and kindness, always striving to make a positive difference.
