Want to be a more active new mom? The Nā Mikimiki Project is trying to help new moms become more physically active over 18 months.

You can join the Nā Mikimiki Project if you…
c Have an infant 2 - 12 months old
c Are 18 to 45 years of age
c Are healthy, have no health problems that prevent you from doing brisk walking
c Do not exercise regularly right now
c Have health insurance
c Are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant for 18 mo.
c Do not plan to move off O‘ahu in next 18 mo.
What happens in the project:
c Complete surveys and other tests 5 times over 18 months (most are mailed).
c Attend 2 in-person visits at Manoa Campus or Dole Cannery (parking provided)
c Receive $60 worth of gift certificates over 18 months.
