Postpartum Depression (PPD)

After having a baby, it is common for women to feel sad, tired or anxious. If these feelings don't go away after 2 to 3 weeks, it may be postpartum depression (PPD). Postpartum depression can also set in suddenly, while some women don't see the first signs until months after giving birth.

You don't have to feel alone. Between 10 to 20 percent of all new moms experience postpartum depression and help is available. Click here to read about the effects/symptoms of PPD and how it can effect mothers.
